Filming in Apley Wood
For this we decided to use my DSLR camera which also records video because we had arranged to film this weekend and could not get back to college and charge the original camera-corder. We were worried that there would be a clear difference in the camera quality as it was in HD, but once we started editing we realised that yes it was much better quality, but not enough to stand out. We took a tripod, but forgot to bring the head for it which meant we couldn't use the tripod properly. This meant that some of the shots were really unsteady, but we covered them up as much as possible during the editing because of the fast cuts, as well as placing the camera on fences, tables and tree trunks and holding it the stillest we could. We tried to get as many different angles as possible, but the person i was working with had sprained ankle and a cracked bone in her foot which meant that walking through the woods was difficult for her at times.
